Jack Parnell receives Memphis advertising chapter's top award
Longtime Memphis broadcast personality, radio announcer and voice-over artist Jack Parnell is the American Advertising Federation's 2014 Silver Medal recipient.
The distinction, awarded by the Memphis AAF chapter, is the group's highest honor and since 1960 has been presented to influential members of the local creative community.
Parnell, father of actor and former Saturday Night Live cast member Chris Parnell, serves on the Telecommunications Commission for Germantown and has worked on numerous national campaigns over the years for companies including NASA, FedEx, Schering-Plough and Lockheed Martin.
